Direkt am historischen Kelten-Erlebnisweg zwischen Thüringen und Franken gelegen, beheimatet der Marswald nun ein Abenteuer, das seinesgleichen sucht. Wir haben Augmented Reality genutzt, um die Welt der alten Kelten direkt bei den Knetzbergen wieder zum Leben zu erwecken.📱

Tritt ein in die Geschichte:
🤝 Stelle die Einigkeit im Langhaus wieder her.

Projekt ist eine Hommage an die tiefe Geschichte des Steigerwaldes. Project Kickoff in den Queichwiesen 💫🌿

Unser erster Workshop vor Ort!

Wir sind tief in die Welt der Störche eingetaucht (ja, wirklich viele 🐦), haben ein paar Mythen entzaubert 😉 und uns dann bei Schleusen, Wehren und Bewässerungssystemen wiedergefunden.

Schon mal von den Queichwiesen gehört?
Eines der traditionellsten Bewässerungssysteme in Deutschland – und bis heute prägt es die Landschaft.
Danke an alle, die dabei waren und ihr Wissen, ihre Perspektiven und ihre Begeisterung geteilt haben 🤍 Genau so entstehen richtig gute Projekte.

Was würdest du gerne über die Queichwiesen entdecken? ✨

Das Projekt „Digitale Erlebniswelt Queichwiesen“ mit einem Gesamtvolumen von rund 512.000 Euro wird zu 85 Prozent gefördert. Insgesamt werden rund 432.000 Euro bereitgestellt, davon rund 203.000 Euro EFRE-Mittel und rund 229.000 Euro Landesmittel. Das Projekt ist eines von zehn landesweit ausgewählten Vorhaben im EFRE-Förderprogramm „Öffentliche Tourismusinfrastruktur – Tourismus 4.0“ im Rahmen des Ziels „Investitionen in Beschäftigung und Wachstum“ (IBW) der Förderperiode 2021–2027.

History is more than dates—it’s about people and their stories. FreiBuddy, an AR-powered app from the Freiburg Documentation Center on National Socialism, brings Jewish life in Freiburg to the forefront through interactive city tours.

With three immersive 90-minute experiences, FreiBuddy blends real historical facts with fictional narratives, offering unique perspectives on Jewish heritage. Developed with input from over 100 students, teachers, and community members, the app fosters understanding and connection.

At ZAUBAR, we’re passionate about using AI and AR to make history feel alive.

The project is funded by the Foundation Remembrance, Responsibility and Future (Stiftung Erinnerung, Verantwortung und Zukunft (EVZ)).

We are thrilled to share the launch of Porzellanikon’s stunning new exhibition, “𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧: 𝐊𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐤,” which opened on October 25th with a vibrant family day.

As part of this exciting project, ZAUBAR developed a custom 𝐀𝐑 𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐔𝐈, adding an interactive layer of excitement to the exhibition and redefining how visitors experience the world of ceramics.🎮✨

Our co-founder, Stefan Marx, had the pleasure of visiting the exhibition and seeing the magic come to life. It’s always rewarding to see our work contributing to unforgettable cultural experiences.

“Mission: Keramik” takes visitors of the Porzellanikon Selb on an adventure to learn more about technical ceramics and their applications in our everyday lives in a very interactive way. We are delighted that ZAUBAR have been given the opportunity to expand part of the exhibition with AR and invite visitors to use a tablet to find out for themselves which objects they recognize from home contain technical ceramics.
