After attending the course “Basics of Graphical Programming (CAD/CAM) with SYMplus™,” this time the focus was on DIN/PAL programming.

During the course “Basics of DIN/PAL Programming,” participants learned, among other things, how to create CNC programs according to DIN/PAL, understand machining sequences, and apply CNC programming in practice with SYMplus™.

Im -Kurs „Grundlagen der DIN/PAL-Programmierung“ ging es unter anderem darum, CNC-Programme nach DIN/PAL zu erstellen, Bearbeitungsabläufe nachzuvollziehen und die Programmierung mit SYMplus™ praktisch anzuwenden.

Ausbilder sein ist manchmal nichts für schwache Nerven. 😅 Die gute Nachricht: Mit unserer CNC-Ausbildungssoftware SYMplus lässt sich der ein oder andere Schreckmoment vermeiden.

Denn mit SYMplus können Auszubildende selbstständig lernen, eigene Lösungswege ausprobieren und direkt sehen, was funktioniert – und was nicht. Ohne dass aus „Oh, ups“ gleich echter Horror wird.

The new SYMplus™ update (Revision 68) is here! ⚡

The latest update brings numerous new features, optimizations, and bug fixes to SYMplus™.

Among the new/improved features:
✔ Contour pocket with contour sequence commands
✔ G73 now available in the DIN simulator
✔ G81 with air-cut optimization (Q2)
✔ Improvements for PAL → Fanuc translation
✔ Fanuc extensions for G2/G3 with chamfer/radius and work offset table
✔ Collision prevention during finishing
✔ Optimized groove milling cycle

Our “Fundamentals of DIN/PAL Programming with SYMplus™” course was once again all about learning the software through hands-on practice:
🛠️ Writing CNC programs
🎥 Running simulations
🧰 Setting up tools and magazines
📘 Working with typical PAL programming content directly in SYMplus™

This time, the course included Mr. Lichtenauer from Helmut Fischer Global — as well as a special participant from our team: our apprentice software developer, Mr. Daba. 😊 At KELLER, we believe SYMplus™ shouldn’t just be something you know in theory. No matter which department you work in, getting hands-on experience with the software is an important part of understanding it.
