Together with The Hub we studied over 15,000 job advertisements on their platform across the Nordics to find out how job posts are hurting the bottom line 👫✊

It's been shown that already 0.6% of biased wording in the total number of words in a job ad can make a difference in candidate's decision to apply for a job 👀

In addition, the Business Psychologist Line Holter joined us to uncover baffling insights on the benefits sought when actively focusing on inclusive language in job advertisements 📰

Here's what Line Holter 🧠 is saying:

"Language in job posts matters because they create assumptions about your company culture and leadership style. The reason is because of a cognitive, or mental, short cut... If your job post is full of stereotyped, biased, and non-inclusive language, potential candidates will likely assume that's also true for your company culture and leadership style." 👩‍⚕️

Have you heard of Diversity Fatigue?

When hiring trends are so oversaturated with the term Diversity and Inclusion, and solutions tend to focus on spreading awareness instead of taking action, it’s not hard to become exasperated. The source of Diversity Fatigue can be different for people depending on their stakes in D&I, and this interview by Catalyst Inc. sheds light on the issue and feelings of people involved. It also provides a great insight into how to move beyond the fatigue and be able to put an appreciative focus on the topic again within organisations and globally alike.

“Without the skill of connecting across difference, something that the majority of our population has never been taught, people can hide behind silence, resistance, and frustration in deep misunderstanding.”
