ntiation
To be relevant, an analysis must start with the deeper-rooted creation of value. That is why we always start with what creates value for your customers and employees, as well as why your company is perceived as unique: What exactly do customers not get, if they choose your competitor? Potential estimate and maximization
We map the potential for markets, employees, and customers segments. As a result, decisions and prioritization in investments and actions can be based on facts, right down on 1-1 level. Exploitation and accessibility of data
In most companies, data exist in large quantities. But usually data are not linked or grouped to provide any sense. Our flexible dashboard application ensures that results are easy to access across complex hierarchies. Financial documentation and validation
Financial validation and link to the business case are critical criteria for success. Our history – from Analysegruppen to ag analytics

ag analytics was started in 1996 under the name Analysegruppen A/S. For the last 20 years, we have been pioneers within relation surveys and analysis. Today we are leaders in mapping and capitalizing on your company’s customer, employee and market potential using technology and our competencies. Along the way, we have received both prizes and recognition for our work. The Danish newspaper Børsen has awarded us the title of ‘Gazelle’ business, which is given to fast-growing businesses, and we have twice won the European industry BIG award for “Best European CEM Project”.

“A lot of people are banding AI around saying it's the solution to everything. Well, it's not.” - Steve Nash

Here's the hard part: if you bought an AI tool and your retention numbers still haven't moved, the tool isn't the problem. What's underneath it is.

Paul Bennett puts it bluntly: “We sell the steak, not the sizzle.” Right now, everyone is selling sizzle. AI is the sizzle. Clean, connected data is the steak - and without it, AI just helps you make the wrong call faster.

AI isn't where you're losing money. Your aftersales business is. Fix the retention gap first - that's the real strategy. AI is just the tool you get to use once that's true.

Quick check: can you name the last AI tool you bought? And the exact number it was supposed to improve? If not, that's the steak-and-sizzle problem, right in your own dealership.

Where do you land - steak or sizzle?

Where does dealership profitability actually come from?

Not from AI. It's from retention.

Dealers aren't losing service revenue because of AI. They're losing it because customers stop coming back, and most dealerships don't know why. We call that the Retention Gap.

That's the core argument from Paul Bennett and Steve Nash, two of the most experienced people in automotive retail. We sat down with them for an honest, unfiltered conversation about what's really driving, and draining, dealership profit.

Aftersales has finally got its time in the spotlight, after years sitting behind new car sales and EV headlines. Most dealerships still aren't ready for it: the workshop is quietly becoming the most valuable part of the business, and few are treating it that way.

Over the next two weeks, we're releasing 5 clips from that conversation:
1️⃣ Why AI is not the strategy
2️⃣ How to actually trust and guide your AI
3️⃣ The Retention Gap, defined
4️⃣ Advice for the next generation entering automotive
5️⃣ The dealership, rebuilt from scratch

The full episode lands soon. Follow along so you don't miss the first clip.

Why do most AI projects never make it to production?

Last week our CEO got back from Monterro's Nordic Software Summit in Stockholm with one number stuck in his head: 42% of companies abandon most of their AI initiatives before they even reach production.

Same problem everywhere. TerDawn DeBoe put it well in a Forbes reel last week: "Having AI does not equate to making money with AI." Her point: most AI projects get approved without a cost calculator, without a specific bottleneck to fix, and without a basic business plan to prove ROI before the budget is signed off.

We see the same failure to measure in aftersales within the automotive industry, before AI even enters the picture. 38% of dealerships don't measure customer retention at all. If you don't know how many customers you're already losing, you can't know what an AI tool is actually saving you.

The ROI conversation was broken before any vendor walked in the door.

That's why we've never told dealers to "step into AI." Stepping into AI is not the strategy. Closing the retention gap is. So how do you actually close it? Work with the customer. Understand what's really happening in your data, not what a chatbot assumes.

Real retention starts with real data, wired into your systems - not another generic AI tool bolted on the side.

Before you buy any AI: what's the one number you're actually trying to move? That's the only ROI conversation worth having.

🤖 Most AI voice agents get judged on one thing: does it sound like a person.

Wrong test. The real split isn't good vs. bad - it's reactive vs. predictive. Does it wait for a problem to show up, or does it already know your customer well enough to catch one before it happens?

✔ We put together the 6 checks that actually separate the two - data foundation, personalization, booking completion, transparency, performance, and who's actually managing it after go-live.

Comment "AUDIT" and we'll run this same 6-point check against your current vendor - free, 10 minutes, no strings.

If a dealership already has its data, what's actually left to do?

That was the first question on the table when Paul Bennett and Steve Nash spent a day with us here in Copenhagen. Across three conversations, they got to see how we actually work - our data, our dashboard, and our AI voice assistant.

Conversation one covered the data itself, who should really own aftersales communication inside a dealership, and the numbers behind one of our own customers.

Steve's takeaway after going through it: "Whenever we looked closely at a dealer's data, it was never as good as they thought."
Most dealers assume their DMS service dates are accurate - in practice, they're often off by months.

Every AI voice agent can make or take a call. Not every one knows who they're talking to. 📞

Most ask you to repeat your name, your car, your service history - every time, no matter how many times you've called before.

Ours is different. It's connected to your DMS, OEM systems, and motor registries, so it already knows who you are before you say a word.

That's not a small feature. That's the difference between an AI that sounds good and one that actually keeps customers coming back.

📝 Comment "CHECKLIST" and we'll send you a guide on how to separate the best from the rest.

Most AI voice tools sound the same. Ours works differently - because it knows the customer.

This week during our townhall we hosted a panel discussion with Marc Bauer, Maz Katinas and Nicholas Malcolm.

Marc explained it simply: before we ever built the voice, we built the data connection. Our AI is plugged directly into the dealership's DMS. That means when a customer calls, we already know who they are, what car they drive, and what service history they have - before the call even starts.

That's the difference. Other AI tools are just a chatbot with a microphone. Ours is connected to the actual system running the dealership.

Why does that matter? Because most customers calling in are already known. They don't want to repeat their name, their car, their history. They want it handled fast, personal, and correct.

That's what real personalization looks like. Not a script. Not a friendly voice. Data, used well.

The recall list is one of the least glamorous jobs in a dealership and one of the easiest to deprioritize.

At roughly £15 a job, recall work rarely justifies the hours of service-advisor time it takes to work through a list. So it waits at the bottom of the pile.

Eden Motor Group put our Voice AI agent on it instead. It called every customer with an outstanding safety recall, explaining the free fix, and booking them into agreed slots.

The results so far:
→ 1,214 customers contacted
→ 521 answered
→ 238 full conversations
→ 182 booked in.

No advisor pulled off the counter. A safety obligation, done in full.

Lead with strategy. Leverage with AI.
