Automation is no longer about single systems; it’s about unifying your multi-vendor ecosystem into one seamless workflow

With Intelligent Systems’ Smart Platform, factories, warehouses, and hospitals can now manage their entire automation ecosystem from one high-level control platform.

In this new video, you’ll see how the Smart Platform unifies multi-vendor AMR fleets, manages interfleet traffic, and integrates seamlessly with existing WMS and MES systems. The result? A truly connected production and logistics flow where every movement, machine, and material is part of one intelligent workflow.

From drag-and-drop system design to end-to-end order automation, the Smart Platform turns complexity into simplicity. It empowers engineers, operators, and decision-makers to focus on performance, not on coordinating isolated technologies. It’s all about one unified platform across all vendors.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁

The latest IFR figures confirm that Denmark remains among the world’s most automated nations, driven by strong growth in key industries such as food and pharmaceuticals. This underlines a crucial point: Automation is no longer optional but essential for building resilience and future competitiveness. To fully leverage this development, companies must move beyond siloed systems and fragmented processes, creating integrated, data-driven production environments where robotics, AI, and IT work seamlessly together.

The latest figures from the International Federation of Robotics (IFR) show that Denmark continues to stand out as one of the world’s most automated nations, with particularly strong growth in industries such as food and pharmaceuticals. While overall European robot installations are declining, Danish companies are accelerating their investments in automation to strengthen resilience and competitiveness.

For Intelligent Systems, this is a clear sign of a critical shift in the market. Automation is no longer a question of if but how well companies can integrate robotics, AI, and IT into cohesive, data-driven ecosystems. Many organizations still operate with siloed systems — from production machinery and robotics to business platforms like WMS or ERP — which prevents them from fully realizing the benefits of these technologies.

The IFR data underlines the urgency of moving beyond fragmented approaches. As automation adoption grows, the complexity of integration increases. Companies must ensure reliability, cybersecurity, and compliance while creating flexible systems that can adapt to future technologies.

At Intelligent Systems, this development supports our mission: to act as the “glue” that connects systems, robotics, and data. The report validates that the companies who succeed in building smart factories and warehouses today will be the ones defining competitiveness tomorrow.

In short, the IFR figures aren’t just statistics — they represent a call to action for Danish industry to embrace connected, intelligent production. And they reaffirm why our work is critical: helping companies take the next step from isolated automation projects to fully integrated smart production environments.

Dansk Robot Netværk (DIRA) is the official provider of Danish data to the International Federation of Robotics (IFR) and you can find the link to the report here: https://www.intelligentsystems.dk/denmark-strengthens-its-position-as-a-global-automation-leader/

It’s great to see this topic making its way into the public debate. 👏

For companies that manufacture or handle physical goods, future competitiveness depends on making factories and warehouses smarter. The need is already here – and with the rise of AI and advanced robotics, it will only grow.

But before these technologies can truly deliver value, companies must move beyond siloed systems and fragmented processes - everything needs to work together seamlessly. That’s not easy. It requires tackling technical debt, ensuring data quality, and meeting strict requirements for reliability, compliance, and cybersecurity.

The effort is significant – but the rewards are even greater. Connecting automation across the entire value chain creates the foundation for real-time insights, faster decisions, and ultimately a smarter, more resilient business.

The foundation is there – now it’s time to unlock the potential before competitors do.

Klumme: Mange industrivirksomheder har gjort store fremskridt inden for automatisering af enkeltstående processer. Næste skridt er at forbinde dem. Det er krævende, men gevinsterne er umagen værd.
