We've released a security update for Helix Ultimate that patches
several vulnerabilities across the framework. If you're running Helix Ultimate on your site, we strongly recommend updating as soon as possible.

What's fixed:
✅ Stronger validation and permission handling for media uploads
✅ Improved authorization checks on AJAX actions
✅ Mega Menu vulnerabilities patched (settings & layouts)
✅ Hardened validation for page titles, styling, and attributes
✅ Better security for social sharing and video/audio embeds
✅ Tighter access control on Live Preview, Coming Soon, and other
protected features

These fixes apply across Joomla 3, 4, 5, and 6, but the update path is different depending on your version:

👉 Joomla 4, 5, 6 users: Update directly from your admin panel
System → Update → Extensions and choose Helix Ultimate.

👉 Joomla 3 users: You'll need the separate Helix Ultimate Joomla 3 security patch, available on GitHub. Download the patch and Install it via
System → Install → Extensions.

Action Required for Joomla 3 Users: SP Page Builder Security Patch v1.0.1 Is Live!
If you're running SP Page Builder on Joomla 3, we strongly recommend you to update to patch v1.0.1 immediately to stay protected.

Note: This patch only works with SP Page Builder v5.6.1. If you are on an older version of SP Page Builder, update to 5.6.1 first, then apply this patch.

What we fixed:
✅ Reinforced import-export security, closing a gap that could let malicious files or data pass through the import/export feature undetected.
✅ Patched potential SQL injection vulnerabilities in the Media Manager that could let attackers inject SQL commands and access or alter database content.
✅ Improved input sanitization across input fields, stripping out dangerous characters and scripts before they get processed.
✅ Improved authorization checks for Dynamic Content, preventing users from accessing or manipulating content beyond their access level.
✅ Improved security for Form Builder and Contact Form addons, adding stronger validation and handling against injection and spam attacks..

Download the .zip file from the JoomShaper site, then go to your Joomla dashboard > System > Install > Extension to install it.
