Making a smartphone app is no different to making any other application in the world, but there are many differences between those two types of apps: 1) You don't have much control over what Android does with your phone (the only thing you can do that runs on Google's operating system is flash it). For this reason, when looking at an existing mobile app developers probably focus on features like offline tracking or using voice-activated notifications as well – things they would consider more stable for their own personal experience and not just something built into each new version after users download another one.
