Just Ask: Crafting Questions That Open Doors đ
Hey, Friends!
In our previous post about https://bit.ly/cmcoachinginsights we explored its general concept and benefits.
Today, as promised, weâre diving into real-life use casesâbecause while theory is convincing, what about practice?
But first, letâs discuss a crucial coaching tool: questions.
Not just any randomly asked or poorly structured questions, but well-crafted, thought-provoking ones. The last are central to coaching sessions, and the deeper they goâwhether itâs about identity (âWho is the ideal partner you aspire to be?â) or values (âWhy is becoming a TikTok influencer important to you?â)âthe more they help clarify your motivations and desires.
These questions trigger those âahaâ moments that can reveal the answers youâre looking for.
This was exactly what helped Kate, our CM teammate, to satisfy her coaching request. She wanted to discover her true calling - something that will unleash her potential to 200% and make her life more meaningful and fulfilling. As simple as that. Her coach wasnât intimidated by the scope of this goal and dove right in.
While we wonât describe the entire coaching journey, in Kateâs case, that âahaâ question was: âDo you believe thereâs just one âtrueâ vocation, or could there be several that change throughout your life?â This question sparked a chain reaction of thoughts for Kate, leading her to question the very idea of finding a single lifelong mission. After all, as Kate pointed out, perhaps there isnât just one calling youâre destined forâthere may be several waiting for you. The key is to experiment and remain open to new challenges. And believe in the power of coaching ;)
