Kalevipoeg, an epic poem consisting of 20 cantons and written in old Estonian alliterative verse by Friedrich Reinhold Kreutzwald, is held to be the Estonian national epic. And now, as the freshly renovated Kalevipoeg museum is getting its interactive permanent exhibition,
the reading of the entire poem by different Estonian people will be recorded this weekend. A couple of free spots still left. Everybody in Estonia is invited to leave a mark in the history of this great-to-be museum and epic. Visitors of the new permanent exhibition will be able to listen to the entire poem read to them by strangers, acquaintances, friends, family and Estonian Minister of Culture. Now this in one serious visitor engagement idea. Great to be part of this project!
Sihtasutuse Kalevipoja Koda juhatuse liige Annika Oras andis teada, et 18. ja 19. jaanuaril tehakse Kääpal taas ajalugu. Igaüks, kes soovib osaleda Kalevipoja eepose salvestusel, on oodatud endast märku andma aadressil [email protected].
