DyedRock is hiring a Junior Web/WordPress Developer in Alexandria

Job Description:

We are looking for a full-stack Web/WordPress developer responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including: creating WordPress themes and plugins.

Key Qualifications:
-----------------
- A very good command of English is a MUST (you will be required to document and comment your code).
- You MUST be detail-oriented and able to write clean code.
- Good full-stack development experience with (all/most of) the following technologies and tools: PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, LESS/Sass, Bootstrap, WordPress and WooCommerce.
- Able to learn and master new tools and technologies.

The following are PLUS:
-----------------
- Basic *nix system administration skills (SSH, FTP, Bash, Vim/Nano, Puppet/Chef, DNS, Apache, WHM, cPanel, etc.).
- Experience with Git.
- Experience with a PHP framework (preferably Laravel).

Note:
-----------------
- You do NOT have to hold a college degree or any certificate. Just show us your code!

Job Responsibilities:
-----------------
- Developing a design into a fully custom, user-friendly and responsive WordPress theme.
- Coding custom WordPress plugins, widgets and shortcodes.
- Updating and maintaining existing websites.
- Testing and troubleshooting websites on multiple browsers and platforms.
- Optimizing and securing websites.
- Troubleshooting and fixing hosting server issues.

Salary: 3000 EGP a month
Hours: 40 hours a week

يعتبر العالم تشارلز بابيج Charles Babbage
هوا اول من قام باختراع اول حاسوب ميكانيكى و يذكره التاريخ انه
"father of the computer"

تشارلز بابيج (26 ديسمبر 1791 - 18 أكتوبر 1871) عالم رياضي ومخترع ومهندس ميكانيكي بريطاني الذي بدأ مفهومَ الحاسوب القابل للبرمجة، درس في جامعة كمبردج وهو صمم أول حاسبة وأسماها مكنة الفروق (Difference Engine) عام 1822. نال منحة من الحكومة من أجل تطوير تصميمه، وقد أنفق تلك المنحة مع جزء من ثروته ونجح باختراع آلة أفضل تضارع الحاسبات الحديثة. يعتبر بابيج بمثابة مخترع الحاسوب الميكانيكي.

بدأ صبر الحكومة البريطانية ينفذ عندما كان بابيج يعلن عن رغبته في بناء ما يمكن أن نعتبره (أول حاسب آلى قابل للبرمجة) أسماه بابيج (الآلة التحليلية). ولم تكن الآلة الجديدة مجرد آلة حسابية، فهى آلة متعددة الوظائف وتشبه الحاسب الآلى الحديث من حيث الاستخدام. وقد اعتمد في فكرة صناعة تلك الآلة على الكروت المثقوبة. وكانت هناك ذاكرة قادرة على تنفيذ تلك الأوامر وحفظ النتائج التي يتم التوصل إليها. كما كان بها مكونات أخرى تشبه مكونات الحاسب الآلى مثل وحده المعالجه المركزيه في 1837. طلب بابيج من الحكومة مالاً لبناء هذه الآلة(الآلة التحليلية) بالرغم من الانتهاء من بناء الآلة الأولى. وكان يرى أنه من المفيد والأوفر أن يتم بناء آلة جديدة بدلاً من تعديل الآلة الأولى. وترددت الحكومة في تمويل المشروع، حيث كان بابيج قد أنفق 17000 جنيه إسترليني من المال العام على أعماله حتى ذلك الوقت. وكان بابيج مصراً على طلب المزيد من المال ويلح في ذلك. وقد علق رئيس الوزراء في ذلك الوقت ساخراً وقال :"إن آلة بابيج ستُستخدم لحساب الوقت الضائع في صناعتها."

كان بابيج قد وضع تصميمات (الآلة الحسابية التحليلية رقم 2)، وكانت أقل تعقيداً وأصغر حجماً. فطولها كان ستة أقدام ونصف بدلاً من ثمانية. لكن لم يكن هناك أى تمويل من الحكومة أيضاً.

توفى بابيج عام 1871 قبل ان يرى اختراعه يظهر الى النور.
بابيج اهدى اللى البشريه اهم اختراع عرفه البشر حتى يومنا هذا وعرفاناً بما قام به بابيج في قت لم يلق فيه قبولاً ولا مساندة من الحكومة البريطانية، قام فريق من متحف لندن للعلوم بصنع نسخة مطابقة للتصميمات التي وضعها بابيج للآلة الحاسبية رقم2 وتم تشغيلها في عام 1991، وذلك في الاحتفال بمرور قرنين على مولده.
