Linux System Administrator is needed for A highly recognized group handling Information Technology & Services located in Egypt.
Position Title: Linux System Engineer
Employment Type: Fulltime
Job Description:
A strong hands-on experience on Linux servers including advanced Linux system tools and services with a very good troubleshooting hands-on experience.
Good knowledge of IT Automation and understanding of hardware components and data center operations is a plus.
Must-have Skills:
- At least 1 year of experience in a Linux system administration role.
- Good study and understanding of Redhat administration and networking.
- Linux system installation, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.
- ٍShell Scripting.
- DNS basic concepts and troubleshooting.
- Cpanel & WHM management.
- RAID concepts.
- System services (apache, nginx, mysql, php-fpm, FTP ...etc)
- System tools and how to use them (top, free, iostat, ps, sar, df, namei ...etc)
- Virtualization hypervisor like proxmox.
- SSL/TLS concepts and certbot tools.
- Firewall services like firewalld and iptables.
- Intrusion detection & prevention systems like (Fail2ban or csf/lfd).
Preferred to have:
- RHCSA & RHCE certification.
- Automation with Ansible & Python
- Network Troubleshooting.
- Operate, develop, maintain and enhance monitoring systems like Zabbix.
