Career Opportunity – Senior Infrastructure Lead
Location: Djibouti, Africa | On-site

UTP Systems is looking for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Lead to join our team and support critical infrastructure operations.

The selected candidate will represent the Infrastructure Manager and act as the main focal point for infrastructure operations, technical coordination, incidents, vendors, and projects.

Key responsibilities:
• Acting as the main focal point for infrastructure incidents, changes, projects, and escalations
• Managing and supporting Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange Server, and Microsoft 365
• Managing Linux servers, VMware virtualization infrastructure, Veeam backup and recovery
• Supporting Lenovo compute infrastructure, IBM SAN storage, IBM tape library, and Huawei network infrastructure
• Monitoring infrastructure availability, performance, capacity, and security
• Leading troubleshooting and coordinating the resolution of critical incidents
• Coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and service providers

Requirements:
• 12–15 years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure
• Strong hands-on experience across Microsoft, Linux, VMware, Veeam, Lenovo, IBM storage, tape library, and Huawei technologies
• Strong troubleshooting, leadership, and vendor management skills
• Experience in critical infrastructure operations and incident management
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
