Following a few enquiries from clients I thought I would just confirm the details regarding the Facebook/Instagram monthly fee. You DO NOT need to pay anything to use Facebook, you can carry on as you are FOR FREE. Or you can choose to pay the monthly fee to get an ad free experience. Beware, the ad free experience does not mean removal of the endless "suggested posts" and reels. These will still appear in your feed.

An advert free experience is not something Facebook want, they want to serve you adverts, this is how they make their money, but they have decided to do this within the EU due to laws on how personal data is used and in tailoring adverts to clients, the easy way around this is to offer you an option to pay for an "advert free" Facebook.
