By 2026 over 65% of farms worldwide are expected to adopt AI-driven data analytics for crop management, turning data into actionable decisions on soil, weather, and yields in real time.

Global investment into agritech is booming – the digital agriculture market, which was about $27.3 billion in 2025, is forecast to expand to over $61 billion by 2033 as connected sensors, automation, and analytics become standard on farms.

Meanwhile, AI specifically in agriculture is forecasted to grow from around $3 billion in 2025 to an estimated $3.7 billion in 2026, driving automation from robotics to predictive yield models.

The future of farming is an ecosystem. AI. Robotics. Precision sensors. Digital software. Quantum computing. The next wave of agriculture is about pulling it all together into integrated tech packages that work for the farmer.

The question is your operation ready in 2026?

Sometimes it feels like there’s only a moment between “grown in the soil” and “on the shelf.” In reality, it’s hours of work, kilometers of conveyor belts, and tons of vegetables.

Green Growth now works with carrots as well – alongside potatoes, tomatoes, and sugar beet.

We start working with farms at the stage where a harvest is not yet a product, but data: maps, monitoring, forecasts, decisions. So that at the end there are fewer surprises and more confidence.

And only then, at the factory, the chaos of root crops turns into clean, sorted, orderly lines: calmly making their way to store shelves.

The moral is simple: if roots can be put in order, data can too.

📊 A new article on the Green Growth blog shows that precision irrigation is an act of care.
Today, technology allows us not just to irrigate, but to listen :
•plant stress and soil moisture data become a language through which the field speaks to the farmer;
•Variable Rate Irrigation (VRI) adapts to specific zones instead of treating the entire field the same way;
•this approach can save up to ~20% of water and offers a real solution for farms facing growing resource scarcity.

Argentina is breathtaking with its colors and tomato aromas, yet what truly excites us is the opportunity to scale our tech. The integration of the Green Growth system onto MTS tomato harvesters was a success.

We thrive on opening new frontiers, so now every hectare of these scenic fields will be turned into precise data and yield maps. We love bringing precision to where there used to be only intuition.

Deployed in San Juan, Argentina 🇦🇷
We’re currently upgrading tomato harvesters-the stack is straightforward: take the standard machines and install Green Growth retrofit kits for real-time data monitoring.

And voilà, we’re refactoring the harvest process to squash ‘bugs’ and optimize performance. By day, we’re fixing throughput in the field; by night, we’re benchmarking the local Malbec.

For years, agriculture was labeled as traditional and manual.
Which is quite ironic, because nothing that depends simultaneously on weather, biology, chemistry, and human decision-making is ever simple.

In reality, agriculture is the most underestimated high-tech industry of the future.
It is a living, non-linear system: with feedback loops, stress signals, and memory.

Soil is data.

We believe, the next technological leap won’t come only from glass towers and server rooms.
It will emerge where we learn to read living systems instead of trying to overpower them.

As the New Year begins, we want to thank the farmers, partners, and builders of the future who believe agriculture can be intelligent, transparent, and rooted in real understanding of the land.

May the year ahead bring you

• healthy soils and data you can trust
• resilient fields and confident decisions
• steady yields, smoother seasons, and fewer unknowns
• and progress that works in harmony with nature

We’re excited to keep growing together, transforming insight into real results, and technology into long-term trust.

✨Happy 2026✨

What a day in the field!

This time we swapped the gold of wheat for bright, stubborn carrots and the harvest did not disappoint.

We spent the day testing a fully equipped carrot harvester fitted with Green Growth’s yield-mapping system, and the results were nothing short of impressive. Row after row, the machine moved with surgical precision. Our sensors captured every nuance of the field, turning a simple harvest into a real-time data story.

Modern agriculture isn’t just dirty boots and a farmer’s tan.
It’s understanding. It’s control. It’s knowing why your yield is great in one row and acting shy in the next.

And because we’re in South Africa this month, we’ve already heard every carrot joke in the book:

• “If the yield’s low, blame the soil… not the tractor driver.”
• “These carrots are so straight, they could run for Parliament.”
• “If only my kids listened as well as GG sensors do.”
• “At least carrots don’t load-shedding, they just grow.”

We’re travelling across RSA helping farms capture the most accurate root-crop data of the season.

At this point, season feels so long we’re thinking of applying for permanent residency in the fields.

Why buy a new machine when the one you have just needs a little IQ boost?

American farmers call it:

“Common sense in a box.”

Spanish farmers call it:
“Por fin, algo que funciona sin quejarse.”

We call it:
Magic, Retrofit Magic 🪄

Philosophers used to say:
«Seek the truth.»
Today, smart farmers say:
«Seek the dashboard.»

Data-driven farming isn’t just a theory anymore – it’s physics:
+15–20% yield, -10–20% inputs, up to -30% water.

At Green Growth, we see this every season:
fields with real-time data stop being a mystery.
Variability shrinks. Patterns emerge.
A «lucky year» finally gets an explanation.

Numbers don’t lie or oversleep.
But even the best dataset can miss a heartbeat.

So trust the data,
but don’t retire your intuition.

City people need therapy to survive stress.
A farmer just needs to survive the wind trying to blow him straight to Kansas – probably past the Yellow Brick Road – and he’s fine again.

Why does yield jump and dip like a moody teenager?

Because crops have feelings too (… or at least the weather, soil & tech make them act like they do).

Top 3 hidden causes:

1. Heat & extreme days. When the mercury sticks around too long, plants decide to bail early. Big global study says more hot days = bigger yield losses.

2. Tech & data. Farms still run on “wait and see” too often. But those using next-gen sensors, AI & precision methods see less ups and downs.

3. Diversity = safety net. Mix up crops, rotate fields, shift landscapes – you reduce risk. Because when one crop panics, another can hold the line.
