This series is the result of a shooting session with Pink Morro, the alter ego of Raúl Ramos from Cocolia, where I worked as his assistant.

The model was Vanessa Licelot, a friend of mine. The colors and textures were inspired in the sea elements as corals.

The Júlia Coma’s collection was inspired in Japanese culture while the shooting was located in the port of Barcelona, an industrial ambient which reinforces the austerity concept of the whole project.

A story from the Greek Mythology explains how Dionysus, the god of wine, nearly kills Amethystos, a girl who was turned into a stone by Artemis to avoid the god’s siege. Once he realise what he has done, he starts crying tears of wine over the stone which turns into a gemstone.
