Business analytics focuses on developing new insights and understanding of business performance based on data and quantitative methods.

The Business Analytics Research Group at Pompeu Fabra University works on the skills, technologies, applications and practices for continuous iterative exploration and investigation of past business performance to gain insight and drive business planning. Business analytics makes extensive use of data, statistical and quantitative analysis, explanatory and predictive modeling, and fact-based mana

gement to drive decision making. Analytics may be used as input for human decisions or may drive fully automated decisions.

We are looking for 3 students who want to start doctoral studies under the Industrial PhD Program from Generalitat (background in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Industrial Engineering or other Engineerings). They will work with the Ajuntament of Barcelona or Hospital del Mar and Universitat Pompeu Fabra, on topics related to Home Health Care and Home Social Care.
