Concept, Creative Direction and Production for El Lenguaje del Abanico, a project for .

A visual proposal that reclaims the fan as a contemporary tool for expression. Once tied to secrecy and outdated codes, the fan is reimagined here as a bold, inclusive and expressive language, able to communicate values, identity and attitude beyond words. Rooted in the idea of the fan as the “social network of our ancestors”, the project updates its symbolic power for the present day. Each image and gesture responds to a specific message conveyed through the body and its dialogue with the fan.

Across four colour backgrounds and four different stylings, the brand’s new collection of sixteen fans is presented through thoughtful colour combinations and dynamic unique poses, using tight crops and bold editing to create meaning.

Inspired by dance and performance arts, the body expands the traditional language of the fan into something freer, louder and more alive. A living language that no longer hides, but celebrates diversity, confidence and joy.

In order: Fan it out, breathe free. Every fold is me. Yes, with vibrant breeze.

Sample book design developed in 2025 to communicate the visual, tactile and technical qualities of Cyclus and Cocoon, two ranges of 100% recycled papers by . Conceived as a practical and inspiring tool for creatives, designers, printers and graphic industry professionals, the project enables the comparison of textures, weights and finishes of the papers, demonstrating that sustainability and high aesthetic standards can coexist.

Rather than presenting generic paper swatches, the sample book features pieces designed for real-use contexts — healthcare, culture, hospitality, gastronomy, energy and the legal sector — allowing the papers to be seen in action and not only imagined. This applied approach helps studios and brands immediately visualise how these papers could be integrated into different business environments.

All pieces are contained within a vertical, portable and durable folder that, when opened, reveals six staggered elements, each made from a different recycled paper. Once removed, the function of each piece becomes evident: trifold brochure, door hanger, card, folded leaflet, die-cut postcards and business card.

The project is supported by a neutral editorial design and a simple, modular visual identity that does not impose specific styles or emotional cues, encouraging creative freedom across a wide range of applications. Subtle, intelligent textual references to recycling and sustainability help position the papers in the audience’s memory, creating a more approachable, engaging and lasting connection with the brand and reinforcing the message of quality and environmental responsibility.

For “Miramar. Exploracions a la Mar d’Amunt”, the exhibition unfolds as a physical and sensorial experience, where graphic language becomes an active part of the space. Visitors move through an environment shaped by quiet gestures, material presence and measured rhythm, inviting a slow and intuitive reading of the exhibition.

At the core of the design lies a typographic gesture inspired by the movement of the Mar d’Amunt — a sea that does not expand horizontally, but rises, advances and presses into the land. Like water that transforms the landscape, the typography follows a subtly ascending direction, suggesting an impulse that travels from the sea through air, architecture and matter.

The letters are not static or decorative. They behave as a living presence — wave, transition, movement — breathing with the space and integrating with silence, white areas and material textures. Typography does more than accompany the narrative: it becomes part of the landscape itself, present yet restrained, shaping the exhibition through rhythm and atmosphere.

Applications include posters, booklet, vertical banners, window graphics, wall labels, exhibition handout and spatial interventions through wall vinyls.

Back in 2021, we were commissioned by Antoni Arola Studio to design the “Barcelona” Christmas lights, with the brief of drawing inspiration from the iconic Vinçon store signage on Passeig de Gràcia — a true design reference in Barcelona and internationally. Starting from the original logo, we traced it and designed the missing letters to complete the lettering. Today, the lights are still in use across the city, intertwined with other artists’ installations and unintentionally acting as a form of branding for Barcelona.

On the other hand, the sign was featured in ‘Inspired in Barcelona: Luce’ at ’s Milan Design Week 2025 exhibition and is now shining in Barcelona at as part of BDW25, running until February 8th.

Back in October 2024, we designed .studio’s visual identity, a project we’re deeply in love with. Casapez is a brand offering culinary and cultural experiences between Barcelona and Cyprus, distinguished by a vision that goes beyond events to foster community, collaboration, and interdisciplinary connections.

Inspired by the symbolism of gathering around a table and the shift in contemporary gastronomy—where eating together transcends biological necessity—we developed a visual identity that is timeless, authentic, playful, expressive, and deeply human.

The brand is built from a single handwritten ligature that connects the two words that make up Casapez. This continuous stroke evokes the core of a fish, resembling of a fishbone, that structures and holds the brand together. It also reflects the brand’s purpose: bringing people together and connecting cuisines, spaces, arts, and mindsets under one roof. A symbol of cohesion, dialogue, and openness.

Its graphic system uses white space as if it were a table to be set — texts (people and conversations), symbols (food), and backgrounds (table) coexist to create a dynamic visual narrative. Free-placed, vibrant, scripted symbols add a fun and fresh attitude while maintaining a human touch. The expressive primary colors, inspired by the timeless works of Miró and Picasso, represent origin, purity of pigment, and a connection to primitive human emotions.

Finally, the Casa Pez totem serves as the personification of the brand — a playful, characterful figure that embodies its spirit and brings its visual universe to life.

Miramar. Exploracions a la Mar d’Amunt — an exhibition for held this September at — for which we had the pleasure of designing the entire graphic system, communication campaign and spacial visuals.

The visual identity translates the chef’s Paco Pérez journey of exploration — between sea and memory, territory and innovation, roots and imagination. Inspired by the landscape of Llançà and Cap de Creus, where the restaurant is located, the typography moves like the sea itself: ascending, shifting, shaping the space through silence and materiality. The exhibition’s graphic language is delicate, tactile and contemplative. A visual landscape that doesn’t decorate — it breathes. It becomes part of the territory it narrates.

Here are some of the pieces we designed, in order: poster, booklet, vertical banner, window posters, wall labels, exhibition handout, spatial design (wall vinyls).

More on our collaboration with Miramar soon.

Last year, we worked on the rebranding and naming of , a Spanish fashion brand based in Madrid that sits at the intersection of vintage cuts and unique colorful fabrics.

For the clothing label design, we created a two-layer fabric system where the information is divided and coded — bringing the brand’s color structure directly into the product in an original way. These embroidered pieces also allow greater flexibility during the sewing process and help optimize production. The monospaced typeface, used in a single size, reinforces the archival feeling of discovering forgotten patterns and bringing them back into the present with a twist.

This is a very special piece we conceptualized and designed for on the occasion of 2024.

Inspired by the concepts of “the stone as origin” and “inhabiting the uninhabitable,” drawn from the brand’s recent photos in Iglesia St. Pere and Solo Office, we created a narrative connecting these contrasting spaces through their materials and Gandia Blasco’s ability to make unconventional spaces livable.

The piece includes four parts: a translucent envelope, a jacket, an unbound photography section, and a technical booklet. The loose structure of the larger pieces allows for flexible arrangement.

The unbound photography section features striking full-page imagery (33 x 46 cm closed) printed on glossy and matte paper for visual and tactile contrast. These monumental images act as posters, blending products, locations, and materials.

The smaller black-and-white technical booklet serves as an index, combining poetic interpretations with practical details on the furniture and architecture. It includes interviews with architects, designers, and a historical overview of the locations.

This editorial concept emphasizes making uninhabitable places livable through experimental layouts and layered elements that create a dynamic interplay between image and text.
