Today we mark a special moment at Ecler as Domingo Melé completes his final working day and begins a new chapter with his retirement.

Over almost four decades, Domingo’s journey with Ecler evolved from a simple student assignment into a defining professional career in electronic design. His work has been part of some of the company’s most important technological steps forward, including early advancements in Class‑D amplification and the development of emblematic solutions like the VIDA Series.

Beyond products and technology, Domingo’s story is also about resilience, curiosity, and the people who shaped his path through moments of change in the industry. He often speaks of the unique environment at Ecler — one built on trust, independence, and the freedom to innovate — as a key reason why his work remained both challenging and rewarding over the years.

Thank you, Domingo, for everything you have contributed to Ecler. We wish you a happy and inspiring retirement, and hope you enjoy everything that comes next.❤️

At Ecler, we celebrate International Women's Day by reaffirming our support for women in the AV industry, recognizing the women throughout history who have fought for equal rights, and proudly celebrating the incredible women who are part of Ecler today.

This year we celebrate "8+1", because equality is not just about one day.
It is the day after. The continuous work. The real actions and the daily commitment we take as an organization to keep advancing equality in the business world.

Together, the women of Ecler gathered wearing light blue, a symbol of trust, serenity, and commitment, values we believe in and work to reflect every day.

Under the theme “Give to Gain”, we believe that by supporting each other, creating opportunities, and building inclusive environments, we all grow stronger.

🌱 “𝗘𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝘀𝗲𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲𝘀 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆.”

As we close the Ecler Stories series and our 60th anniversary celebration, Jan Pagès Carreras, General Manager of Ecler, reflects on the principles that have shaped our journey for six decades: quality, robustness, design, and teamwork.

From his beginnings in sales to becoming deeply involved in product development and international market expansion, Jan’s path embodies Ecler’s hands-on spirit. Curiosity, customer understanding, and a passion for sound led him from early listening sessions and the creation of new loudspeaker ranges to balancing commercial responsibilities with product ownership. Being part of the process from the first idea to the final product became not only a professional milestone, but a deeply fulfilling experience.

His journey ultimately led him to leadership roles, culminating in his position as General Director. Along the way, there were defining moments, such as receiving the Best Product of the Year award for VIDA 24, that symbolized collective success.

As this final Ecler Story comes to a close, it stands as a tribute to the people behind the brand, the shared vision that drives us, and the values that continue to guide Ecler forward.
