The MTX-DigitalEco System provides IoT solutions for the different elements that can become part of a selective waste collection ecosystem. On the one hand, an MTX-StarEco installed in each container controls and identifies every opening. The opening can be done via BLE or via NFC. The information collected is sent to the Cervello platform through NB-IoT or through BLE (by trucks). Finally, the entire process is controlled from the Unified Operations Center, which receives all the information from Cervello IoT Platform.

Water Monitoring in Rural environment, that is a typical industrial IoT solution when it comes to getting the most out of an agricultural facility. One of the main challenges is to be able to monitor and control them remotely, being able to obtain all the information on water quality as well as being able to control consumption and act, remotely, about the water pumps. This challenge becomes even greater if we take into account that some of the facilities will be in poor coverage environments, which is why a solution that provides connectivity security is essential in order to reduce travel, thus increasing the efficiency of the facility.

Herewith share MTX new Case Study in Monitoring of the Electrical Network, that is a typical industrial IoT solution in which the advantages of the new smart IoT devices are used to detect failures in the power supply. By early detection of electrical problems, bigger problems are avoided through rapid and effective action. This happens thanks to the collection of real-time information on fault indicators with smart modems, MTX-IoT-S that transmit the information through LTE/4G.

This case study is based on an actual project in the Southeast Asia Pacific (APAC) area.

在此分享，MTX M2M 與東南亞電廠合作「智慧電網」專案，採用MTX-IoT-S Modem，連接客戶安置於電箱的「故障指示感測器」(Fault Indicator Sensor)，透過4G/LTE的訊號，藉此監控配電狀況與遠端設備管理，並能針對故障或電力異常等問題即時處理。

再者，MTX-IoT-S本身自有的電池，在外部斷電、抑或供電不穩的環境，仍能提供本身運作所需的電力、並以SMS (Short Message Service) 通知中控中心（搭配Matrix自有雲平台「Cervello」）異常狀況，避免「一斷電、整個系統就失聯」的窘境。

The upward trend of renewable energy does not stop, especially when we talk about solar energy applied to self-supply both in private homes and, in an industrial environment. In Taiwan, the capacity of the solar farm is projected to 8.75GW by end-2021, and, marching towards the goal of 20GW in 2025.
For proper monitoring of both, the status of the devices and the consumption and energy generated, a communication equipment is essential so it receives the data from the inverters and send it to the cloud so the pertinent IoT platform can analyze it.
再生能源已經是不可擋的趨勢，尤其常提到的太陽能發電足數供應各家庭與工業應用。在台灣，政府已經計劃在2021年底前發電量要達到8.75GW，並在2025年以前，太陽能總發電量能達到20GW。

MTX team helps customers to collect the data and remotely monitor the status of each of the solar panels and inverter which connects to MTX-Router-EOS. To do this, each inverter in the installation is connected via Ethernet to a simple communication device that transparently transmits the information received to the cloud, where a proprietary platform of the integrator analyzes the data obtained and displays the information directly to the customer.

MTX-DigitalWater System

MTX-DigitalWater System is a smart system for the collection of water meter measurements and their subsequent sending through narrow band communications (NB-IoT) or Cat-M. A Head End System platform extracts and unifies the information to send it via MTX-StarWater, regardless of the meter brand and the final platform.

MTX 數位水表系統是一套收集水表資訊並透過窄頻物聯傳輸 (NB-IoT, or Cat-M)的智慧系統。不論水表或是最終管理端為何種平台，MTX的StarWater產品終會協助將資訊收集並統一傳輸至控制平台，達到遠端監控與管理。
