Broadcast Dreams

This piece started the same way most of my work does… with a collection of completely unrelated images that somehow found their way together. An old city street, vintage flowers, a suited figure, a reel-to-reel machine, textures, cracks, shapes and colour. I never really plan a message beforehand; I just build, layer by layer, until something feels right.

Maybe that’s why I enjoy collage so much. Taking fragments from different places, different eras and different lives, then creating something entirely new from them.

Every element here came from a separate image, but together they became their own world.

Hold OFF.

As always, it started with a few images, some textures, bits of text and a lot of moving things around until it felt right. I never really know where these designs are going when I start, which is probably why I enjoy creating them so much.

Hey, I just finished this new design and wanted to share it. 📸✨

I was playing around with a retro collage style, mixing vintage fashion, old-school cameras, layered textures, and hand-drawn elements to create something that feels nostalgic but still modern. I love how the camera heads turn the figures into storytellers, almost like they’re seeing the world through a different lens.

**Title: LOVE IN THE CHAOS**

A collision of pop culture, rebellion, and raw energy. This piece explores the tension between attraction and disruption, balancing bold Coca-Cola reds against a backdrop of fragmented typography, graffiti marks, and distressed textures. The figure stands defiantly above the familiar, turning an everyday object into a stage for individuality, confidence, and self-expression.

Through layers of urban-inspired elements, torn narratives, and graphic contrasts, the artwork celebrates the beauty of standing out in a world that often encourages conformity. It’s about attitude, movement, and finding your own voice amidst the noise.

A huge thank you to the talented photographer Jason Piggott and inspirational model Alice ‘Alf’ Arley whose creativity, trust, and collaboration helped bring this artwork to life. Creative partnerships like these transform ideas into something far greater than the sum of their parts, and I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work together on this project.
