A very late recap post of what it was Barcelona this year! 💥
First of all, it was my very first time going by myself to a festival like that, I’ve been to Nicer Tuesdays back in London, some conferences during other design festivals, but nothing as scary as going 3 full days at OFFF, which is BIG!
I can just say, it was a BLAST 💖
1st day: arrived a little late straight from the airport, managed to see from London, a really powerful and inspiring talk from (which I got the courage to say hi, he’s very nice!), the incredible work (and ice cream 😂🍦), a very fun talk from presented by , the amazing ! And closed the day 🎉
2nd day: Joined a creatives brunch organised by , I’m so glad I did that! 💖 It gave me the opportunity to meet a lovely group of people (motion designers are niiiiice) who accepted a graphic designer intruder who loves motion 😂 Because of them I had so much fun the rest of the event, my highlights of the day were from Pentagram London and which was the second time seeing them (never disappoints!)
3rd day: .thecreativestudio (best friend, person, designer and dancer in the world) joined me for the last day! 🫶🏼 I introduced her to everyone I’ve met the day before, and we spent most of the day exploring the different fun and creative areas at the festival, the market, and enjoyed some talks from from Google Creative Lab, , who created the main titles (🤯 stunning), the awesome , and a great talk and work from
Overall a very inspiring, fun and exciting 3 days in Barcelona, that also needed a lot of time to digest. I want to also say a special thank you to .motion who I had the pleasure to meet! You made it all much easier for me, without knowing me before you encourage me to talk to people, and made me feel more comfortable, and we had fun! Can’t wait to meet in person again ❤️
