Engineering Managers are losing patience with external recruitment companies. Why?
We wanted to find out too, so we went knocking on a few doors… well, emailed the base.😉
The results are staggering – here’s how they responded:
· 19% happy with recruitment companies overall
· 92% think recruitment fees are too high
· 75% believe recruiters don’t understand their requirements properly
· 78% think recruitment processes are too slow
· 80% get too many unqualified CVs and duplicate candidates
….and get this: When asked about their own internal recruitment processes, almost 70% said they were too slow and restrictive. The most common complaints are based around approved suppliers being ‘too limited’, ‘non specialist’ and managers felt unable to use their own hiring methods 👎
