What does it take to connect intelligence at scale?

Yesterday our President and CEO Justin Hotard, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro, and federal, state and local government officials visited our Allentown site to commemorate the $30M investment to expand the site. The expansion is expected to double our Pennsylvania workforce to 500+ highly skilled jobs, while generating a projected $500M economic impact over 5 years.

By boosting production capacity up to 10x, this site, one of the few in the U.S. producing critical optical modules, will deliver the high-capacity, low-latency connectivity hyperscalers need, all with lower power consumption. Together, we're strengthening domestic supply chains and cementing Pennsylvania as a premier hub for advanced tech.

Nokia Bengaluru, in collaboration with Amazon Web Services, hosted two vibrant and impactful AI Activation Days at the Manyata Campus in May exploring concepts of Agentic AI.

Day 1 saw Senior leaders highlighting AI’s growing strategic importance to a massive hybrid audience of 1200+ colleagues at Benguluru, while AWS experts shared best practices and enabled hands-on experimentation.

On Day 2, 220 colleagues across 55 teams rapidly built innovative AI-powered use cases, including network automation, self-healing mechanisms, technical review assistants, and energy-tracking tools using the sandbox environment provided by AWS .
The event showcased how powerful ideas can be transformed into working prototypes in under 24 hours using the power of Agentic AI.

Nokia’s AGM 2026 took place yesterday in Helsinki, Finland. Shareholders representing approximately 3.5 billion shares and votes participated.

The AGM approved all the proposals of the Board of Directors. Following the AGM, Timo Ihamuotila was elected as the new Chair of the Board. We thank Sari Baldauf, who has decided to step down, for her leadership and service to Nokia.

Two inspiring days at our Budapest R&D site. Our AI Activation Day, organized together with AWS, brought colleagues across roles together to explore how AI is transforming telecom and software development.

From insightful keynotes to hands-on labs, Day 1 built strong momentum and sparked great discussions. Day 2 shifted fully into action: teams collaborated, experimented, and turned ideas into real prototypes with support from AWS experts and internal coaches.

The result? A wide range of creative, high-impact AI solutions.
