We measured the distortion of the A10 at 100 dB levels from a distance of one meter:

As you can see from the numbers, the resistance box loading at low frequencies (200Hz) somewhat increases the 2nd order distortion component, but otherwise the readings remain low.

That 100 dB level is really loud! I would have liked hearing protection here..😀

As you can see, the treble distortion with 3rd and 4th order distortion components remains almost non-existent. This is what happens when using first-class tweeters. I guess no one expected anything else..😉

Overall, the distortion components emphasize the 2nd order component, i.e. the first even component. In other words, the same as in tube amplifiers.

So the ALD A10 is a tube-sounding constant directional radiator with horizontal fan-shaped dispersion 🙂
