Critix combines news articles, blogs, and podcasts into groups/clusters of media about the same news story. This way, the app can show differing opinions about the same pieces of news. It allows users to read and report the news as trustworthy/untrustworthy, objective/subjective, positive/negative. A user can also report an article as opinion pieces, reviews, adverts or clickbait. Critix is to let people read and report news, as well as see the stats of all reports given by other users. By transparently seeing the data from all the reports, the readers can make their own conclusions about whether the articles credibility and bias in the article. The main goal is to make news consumption more transparent, more effective and even more entertaining, while educating our users to the complexity of modern journalism.
