At Exertus Oy, we believe that curiosity, learning, and diverse perspectives help drive innovation.

During her work experience period (TET) in our Marketing & Communications team, Sofia from Laihia Secondary School took on the role of interviewer and content creator. Interested in learning more about software development and career opportunities in technology, she interviewed two of our software professionals, Anna Tuominen and Iina Nikkarikoski.

In the article, Anna and Iina share how they found their way into software development, what their daily work looks like, the skills needed in the field, and the advice they would give to aspiring developers. Sofia also reflects on what she learned about both the technology industry and modern communications work during her placement.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT

We are aware of recent reports regarding “mysteriously missing” products from warehouses around the world.

At Exertus, we would like to clarify:
- We have not identified any missing KitKats in our warehouses.
- We have also not identified any missing controllers, displays, or other products, at least not on paper.

A small number of items may have been temporarily reassigned for internal “quality assurance purposes.” These investigations are ongoing and, importantly, deliciously thorough.

We have assembled a dedicated task force to look into this matter. They are fully operational and request no further questions at this time, because they’re on a short break.

If customers happen to receive extra items in their deliveries, this is not a mistake. This is what we call, "proactive customer satisfaction".

We remain committed to transparency, accountability, and occasionally checking the snack drawer.

Thank you for your understanding, and please remain calmly suspicious this April 1st.
