As a dedicated satellite connectivity partner to the humanitarian sector, IEC Telecom Group was proud to participate in the Global Security Risk & Policy Conference by GISF - Global Interagency Security Forum, one of the most important forums where NGO security and technology experts meet.

- GPS jamming and spoofing has moved from footnote to headline. What was a minor topic at last year's event has become one of the most urgent conversations in 2026. Relying on a single positioning system is no longer viable for organisations operating in high-risk environments. Resilient, non-GPS PNT (Positioning, Navigation & Timing) solutions are shifting from niche interest to operational necessity.
- Tracking and PTT: demand is growing. Interest in portable tracking and push-to-talk solutions was consistently high. Our Traksat platform drew strong attention. Field teams need tools that are discreet, reliable, and backed by genuine account support.
- Licensing complexity remains a real barrier. Deploying satellite devices across different regulatory environments continues to challenge NGO operations, a reminder that connectivity is only part of the equation.

With over 200 senior security professionals in attendance, including delegations from WFP and UNDSS, GISF remains one of the most important forums shaping the future of humanitarian connectivity.

Thank you to everyone who visited our stand and shared your challenges with us. These conversations directly shape how we deliver our solutions.
