Sometimes, certain projects begin with a simple question.
Then the question becomes a reflection.
The reflection becomes a body of work.
And eventually, that work takes the form of a book.
For several months, I have been conducting independent research on artificial intelligence — not only as a technology, but also as a human, educational, and societal issue.
I wanted to better understand:
what happens to knowledge, transmission, and human responsibility in a world where artificial intelligence is becoming increasingly present?
This intellectual journey led me to explore:
• local AI,
• digital sovereignty,
• real-world uses of AI,
• pedagogy,
• technological resilience,
• and above all, the importance of continuing to truly understand the tools we use.
The book published today is not a conclusion.
It is rather a milestone.
A living research project.
A work intended to evolve through discussion, experimentation, and transmission.
I deeply believe that transmission remains essential.
To understand before using.
To explain before automating.
And to keep human responsibility at the center of technological systems.
Thank you to everyone who, sometimes without even knowing it, contributed to this reflection through discussions, questions, criticism, or support.
