Next up, we welcome Jabba 2.3 for his debut release on Play Pal, with the aptly titled ‘Welcome on Board’.

Supporting the three original tracks are friends of the label TYU, Leonor and AckerMan.

‘Stay Tuned’ builds around an atmospheric hook, a sharp staccato bass line and sparse drums peppered with choral pads.

‘Here She Goes’ ups the groove with metallic arps, vocal snaps and stutters, with an ethereal breakdown.

The title track, ‘Welcome on Board’, teases a long intro with a slow melodic buildup before the drums and 303 complete the sonic palette.

TYU’s take on ‘Stay Tuned’ adds a tribal percussive element, pushing the track into more hypnotic and physical territory while giving the groove a distinctly new vibe.

Leonor strips back ‘Here She Goes’ with a minimal acid rework, letting the 303 take centre stage and creating a stripped-down, heads-down groove that gradually draws you in.

AckerMan’s rework of ‘Welcome on Board’ takes the original arps and infuses them with organic percussion, congas and polyrhythms, giving the track a warmer, more intricate feel while retaining the hypnotic character of the original.

Originally from the South-West of France and rooted in the metal scene, LAVION developed strong stage and technical experience early on, touring across Europe, working in studios, producing music videos, and handling production within his band DOJ. In 2016, he shifted toward electronic music. Starting out in House, he shaped a distinctive identity blending Italo, Trance, EBM and New Beat — merging rock energy with an instinctive, hardware-driven live approach. Passionate about vintage synthesizers and drum machines, LAVION is now a DJ, producer and live performer, moving between euphoria, nostalgia and the tension of the dancefloor.

He recently released his new EP Liminal State on Ritmo Fatale, blending his signature Melancholic/Euphoric Italo-Trance with a darker EBM edge. Previous singles such as Into The Stars and Liberate further cemented a strong, singular identity. Driven by a desire to work with labels that align with his universe, he followed this momentum with the EP DECORPORATION on Ulla Record — a longer format that let him explore more nuance and variation. Across these releases, LAVION crafts evolving DJ sets and live performances, conceived as a true sonic journey, balancing the euphoric energy of Trance and Italo with the more underground atmospheres of EBM and New Beat.

This evolution is also visible on stage: in 2026, he stepped up his club and festival appearances across Berlin, Barcelona, Paris and France, notably at Rex Club, Le Bikini, Crak Bellmer and Ombra Festival — an upward trajectory confirming LAVION as one of the most promising projects of the new European Italo-EBM generation.

Undo & Casiowaves join forces to bend minds on their new EP “Chemical Eyes”. The Catalonian pairing, collaborators for the past five years, have built a body of work that’s conceptually rich and sonically sophisticated. The “Chemical Eyes” EP is a love letter to analog synths, taking us on a psychedelic trip through past and present, nostalgic but never mimetic.

Reality begins to warp the moment “Chemical Eyes” kicks in. The title track opens in post-punk territory, leaning into nostalgia both lyrically and sonically and with synth outro that lingers like a memory.

Parisian producer Chloé’s remix takes us firmly into the 21st century, chopping up the title track until it mutates into something more minimal and syncopated. This electronic take still retains the track’s post-punk mood, with contemplative loops and reverb-drenched guitar as we begin to move from the concert venue into the club.

B side “Trumpsky Beats” picks up the pace with neon-soaked synthwave that references the 80s synthpop icons in more than just name. Crisp, shimmering synths dance through warped bass lines and new wave drum patterns, creating a lush contrapuntal soundscape that thrives as much on nostalgic memory as it does on contemporary creativity.

Italo Brutalo’s remix amps up the intensity further with infectious snares and acid twangs. The German producer and synth enthusiast adds a tasteful complexity that pulls the EP fully onto the dancefloor.

Exclusive digital bonus “Where We Belong” gives us space to cool down with resonant pads and vocoder-warped vocals, perfect for soaking in as the sun comes up.

Starting in 2021 the critically acclaimed Next Wave Acid Punx series has seen Luca Venezia, aka Curses, celebrate the music that has shaped both his life and career. Across the first two compilations Luca took us from the industrial and post-punk sounds of the late 70s, through the emergence of EBM, new beat and freestyle in the 1980s and onto the music he both makes and plays himself in clubs today. Bringing the series to a close Next Wave Acid Punx TROIS sees the Berlin-based musician and DJ return full circle, this time exploring the sounds that first initiated him into Brooklyn’s rave scene and the music that, in some way, continues to embody its eclectic spirit today.



Spread across three 2LPs and 3CDs Next Wave Acid Punx TROIS captures a moment whose influence can still be heard reverberating around clubland today. With the nascent rave scene obliterating boundaries, this was a moment where the darker, harder industrial electronic sounds of the mid 1980s were crashing headfirst into the ecstatic wave that was washing over clubland creating thrilling juxtapositions. Whether in the clubs and warehouses of New York, London, Frankfurt, Valencia and beyond, electronic music would never be the same again as countless new genres we take for granted today were born from the chaos and energy that had been unleashed.



Featuring 46 hard-to-find, new and exclusive tracks, Next Wave Acid Punx TROIS both documents that fertile period and shows how, despite rumours to the contrary, that early anarchic spirit can still be found today. From the Detroit Techno of Model 500 to Nitzer Ebb’s EBM and the proto-Trance of Age of Love and onto brand new tracks from some of today’s best producers such as Zaatar, Italo Deviance and Leona Jacewska, this compilation closes out a series that has to date revelled in exploring the darker corners of clubland in uplifting style.
