AI is reshaping content discovery across two distinct dimensions: how viewers interact with platforms, and how platforms understand and recommend content.

Conversational interfaces and improved voice processing are reducing reliance on scrolling and allowing viewers to express intent more directly. Meanwhile, AI-driven metadata extraction covering scene detection, emotion analysis, and thematic tagging is enabling recommendation precision that manual processes simply cannot match at scale.

But as our Senior Product Manager Hadar Tel Mizrahi outlines in our latest blog, AI is not a ,magic bullet. Recommendation quality still depends on data governance, metadata quality, and clear alignment with business objectives.
