“Fill Your Glass” is an abecedarian accordion book showcasing different types of alcoholic cocktails and their recipes. A challenge given for this student project was to create the book with a limited color palette chosen by chance. I had two colors only: a red and a light yellow. The cover page is conceptual to the title where pulling the sword fills in the rest of the text and the subtitle appears.

The Chocolate Show is the world’s largest event dedicated to chocolate and cocoa. There are over 60 countries represented and over 500 participants from around the globe.
For the vastness of this event, they were in need of a consistent, cohesive identity that would be interchangeable and usable among every city it travels to. For this branding project I specifically focused on the event in Paris since it originated there.
One of the most fun things about this project was creating the Eiffel Tower out of chocolate!

For this project in a Book Design course I had to design an interactive book that would be distributed at the Pitchfork Music Festival that was conceptual to a song and its lyrics that we had chosen from a list.
“Blowin’ in the Wind” by Bob Dylan was my chosen song and I created this interactive book by designing a series of postcards that relate to the song’s series of questions throughout the lyrics. Once flipped, the answer to the questions in the song reveal that it was there all along, just blowing in the wind. The back pages act like a puzzle that is meant to be put together.

American Burger is a family owned burger restaurant located in Monterey, California. It was established in 2009 by the Miguel family, who were very proud immigrants from El Salvador. They developed the name of their new restaurant by honoring their own pursuit of the American entrepreneurial dream.
This student project was a complete rebrand of their family restaurant to help with their business, customer satisfaction and overall look. I created a new trademark for them as well as new tag line to incorporate into their new identity.

“Centennial of Wonders” is an exhibition catalog celebrating the 100th year anniversary of the National Park Service. Contents of this catalog include an essay over the history of the National Park Service as well as pictures and facts of popular National Parks and a place for field notes. The parks are grouped according to their geographical locations.
This project was curated and designed in a Typography II class.

Americans for the Arts is a nonprofit organization whose primary focus is advancing the arts in the United States.
For this Art Direction project my group chose three iconic landmarks in America and overlaid each picture with sketches and inspirational ideas to show that “It all started with art.”

Using a system called SmartPoints, no food is forbidden when on the Weight Watchers program. You can eat what you like, just be aware of how many points your body can consume in a day/week/etc.
The concept behind my collaborative student project is depicting a spoof on McDonald's ads to show that one can still eat food like McDonalds, but "happiness doesn't come in a box", which has different meanings relating to food, McDonald's, and overall health and well being.
