Amazing news! 😍

We’re proud to share that the Signal team have secured two international Gold Awards at the 47th annual Telly Awards 2026. Competition was fierce, with over 13,000 entries from across five continents.

The winning films were created for Finland-based Wärtsilä and Aberdeenshire-based Thistle Seafoods. Two very different brands, and two projects that reflect the range, creativity and craft of our talented team 🎬

Signal is excited to welcome filmmaker Alex Thomson to our growing creative team! 🎥

With extensive experience as a cameraman, editor, certified drone pilot, and qualified for offshore filming projects, Alex's impressive portfolio includes capturing dynamic footage on land and at sea, producing engaging content for both local businesses and global organisations.

As Signal continues to grow and expand its creative offering, his expertise will play an important role in creating content that informs and inspires, helping clients to stand out in an increasingly competitive marketplace.

Alex shared his enthusiasm about joining the Signal team, commenting that he’s “looking forward to contributing to the company’s ongoing success and collaborating on exciting new projects”.

As we wrap up 2025, we want to share a genuine thank you.

To our clients, partners, and suppliers your trust, openness and ambition have made this year what it was. So proud of what this team deliver and what we’ve achieved together.

We’ve continued to grow. From hero films, corporate stories and recruitment campaigns to harbours, housing, energy projects and global updates. Sometimes with ROVs, sometimes with Japanese subtitles, and occasionally alongside tall ships ⛵ It’s been a year full of variety, challenges and momentum.

A few highlights from 2025:
�• 152 filming days in 6 countries�• 29 clients�• 8 new partnerships�• 56,785 YouTube views with 807,000 impressions

We welcomed two brilliant new team members, Jack and Glen 🙌
�We hosted work experience placements with Roman, Joel and Georgia (along with several students from NESCOL), giving the next generation of filmmakers hands-on industry experience.
�2025 has been a year worth replaying and we’re excited for what 2026 holds.
