Following the 2017 Manchester Arena attack, Martynâs Law was introduced to create a consistent, mandated approach to security across public spaces and venues- including schools, colleges, event venues, community spaces, hospitality settings and places where people gather.
Although many venues have lockdown or emergency procedures in place, Martynâs Law goes much further. It takes a comprehensive approach to security, setting a wider range of measures to help keep staff, visitors, students and the wider public safe.

đ Support evacuation, invacuation (moving to a safe place) and lockdown
