Quick question, if a phishing email landed in your inbox right now, would you spot it?
Don't worry if you're not sure. You're definitely not alone, and honestly, the people behind these scams are getting frighteningly good at what they do. Gone are the days of badly-spelt emails from a 'prince' offering you millions, today's threats are slick, convincing, and often look like they've come from someone you trust.
Which is why we're really excited to invite you to our next Security Awareness Training session, hosted by Mark Jones, our Pre-Sales Technical Engineer.
Wednesday 27th May
10:00am – 11:00am
Mark's the kind of person who can take something complicated and make it actually click, no tech-speak, no scare tactics, just genuinely useful information delivered in a way that sticks.
So who's it for? Honestly, anyone and everyone:
- Maybe you're new to all this and feel like cyber security is a bit of a black box. That's completely fine, Mark will start from the ground up and have you understanding the key risks (and how to dodge them) in no time.
- Maybe you've done training before, or you reckon you've got a decent handle on things already. Even better, come along for a refresher. The threats evolve constantly, and there's always something new worth knowing about.
- Maybe you're the person in your team that everyone asks 'is this email legit?' in which case, this'll give you even more confidence to keep being that go-to person.
Here's what makes this stuff matter: most cyber attacks don't happen because of dodgy software or weak networks. They happen because someone, somewhere, clicks something they shouldn't. One slip can cost a business thousands, sometimes more. But a team that knows what to look for? That's a team that's genuinely hard to crack.
So block out an hour on Wednesday 27th May (10am – 11am), come along, ask questions, share your own near-misses (we've all had them), and walk away knowing you and your colleagues are that bit safer.
We'd love to see you there.
