Nostalgia Friday !

Who had one of these back in the day ? A 'Metal Detector License' every detectorist then was required to purchase this license to allow them to legally detect, although there's no mention of where !. This license, with a lot of help from C.Scope's MD, Martin Fry, was quietly dropped in the early 1980's . It's fair to say that the UK has some of the best Metal Detecting regulations on the world, long may it stay that way.
