🚨 HAVE YOU HEARD ABOUT THE NEW V**E TAX?
From 1st October 2026, a new Government Va**ng Products Duty comes into force – and it is going to have a significant impact on the price of v**e liquids.
The new duty is £2.20 per 10ml, which, once VAT is added, means an effective retail cost increase of £2.64 for every 10ml of v**e liquid.
And importantly, the duty applies to all v**e liquid – whether it contains ni****ne or not.
So what could that mean?
💧 10ml = £2.64
💧 30ml = £7.92
💧 60ml = £15.84
💧 120ml = £31.68
For customers who use larger bottles, the impact is particularly significant.
A 100ml shortfill with two 10ml nic shots contains 120ml of v**e liquid – meaning the new duty plus VAT could add £31.68 to the cost.
We've been talking to customers in the shop and have been surprised by just how many people still don't know this is coming.
