A nice wee addition at the offices of an existing client today where we added in a new 10Gig UniFi Pro Max switch paired with a 10Gig UniFi Pro XG switch. We trunked these switches together with a fibre optic cable with 10Gig SFP modules on either side. All users in the video editing suite can now hit their UNAS Pro 8 at lightning speeds whether transferring 2K, 4K or even 8K files ⚡️

A Netii Broadband full home UniFi and network solution carried out this week in Moira, Northern Ireland.

Starlink for now until we can get a trench dug out to lay ducting so we can get our fibre cable up a 200+ metre driveway. Then we will organise an ultra fast gigabit full fibre Netii Broadband connection for our client 🙌🏻

Netii Broadband’s technical director Marc launches his first YouTube video documenting a residential installation carried out at one of Netii’s new broadband customers.

As well as providing a new full fibre Gigabit broadband connection, we also deployed a full UniFi WiFi, network and gate access control solution with ANPR.

Just a small part of last week’s residential full UniFi project where we pulled an underground fibre optic cable 150m from the main residence down to the entrance gates.

The reason for doing it this way is we always run a fibre cable instead of an external Cat6 if the distance is anything more than 80ish metres. Once the fibre is at the gates we will convert it back to ethernet using a fibre media converter which will then be used to supply the UniFi gate hub 😎

With the Ballymoney Show fast approaching (Fri 5th - Sat 6th June) we were delighted we could help the showgrounds bring a full fibre connection to the site in good time for the show taking place 🐮🚜🐴🐑

The original lead time was going to be cutting it fine, so we had a chat with our partners at BT Wholesale and were able to bring the date forward 👏
