A few weeks ago, our team gathered in Belfast for our Christmas All Hands. It was a wonderful chance to reflect on 2025, celebrate our achievements, and spend time together.

We want to sincerely thank every client, partner, and our incredible team for their dedication this year. Here’s to continuing our journey and success in 2026!

Please note, our office will be closed from 25 December to 2 January. Support will remain available throughout this period, except on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day.

Last week, we gathered at Assembly Buildings in Belfast for our October All Hands meeting – one of our favourite times of the year. 💚

With team members travelling from across the UK and Ireland, All Hands is our chance to come together in person to collaborate, share ideas and celebrate what makes Synergy Learning special.

As part of our Giving Back programme and marking 20 years of Synergy Learning, we’re proud to support Dementia NI in their own milestone year. 💚

Founded in 2015 by five people living with dementia, Dementia NI has spent the last decade empowering voices and bringing hope to people across Northern Ireland.

To mark our shared anniversaries, we celebrated together with a special joint birthday cake – a sweet way to honour two decades of Synergy Learning and 10 years of Dementia NI. 🎂

Chris Po***ck, Communications Lead at Dementia NI, shared: “Celebrating our 10th birthday is testament to the strength, resilience, and determination of our members. We would like to extend our thanks to Synergy Learning for their support during our special year, coinciding with their own 20th birthday.”

At the Totara Awards last month, we won Best Employee Development Project with UNDSS and were Highly Commended for Best Use of Blended Learning with Queen Mary University London. 🎉

So, what are the stories behind the wins?

🏆 UNDSS: Best Employee Development Project 🏆
We partnered with the UNDSS to deliver a customised Totara platform that would meet its requirements of delivering complex training in flexible ways, often in regions with varying levels of infrastructure and connectivity.

Following consultancy workshops to build our understanding of how the new platform could best serve UNDSS’ training needs, we set about creating a learning management system with all the flexibility and reliability needed to deliver training that can save lives.

🏅 QMUL: Best Use of Blended Learning (Highly Commended) 🏅
QMUL wanted to create a platform that would become a central hub for all learning resources and seminars available to its workforce of more than 3,500 academic staff, 2,500 administrative staff and 2,500 research students.

We delivered a customised Totara platform that is tailored to QMUL’s requirements. Totara Learn’s flexibility ensures that the university can create and manage learning for a diverse range of learners across various learning pathways, including staff, post-graduate students, overseas staff and external contractors.
