What an amazing afternoon at Open House Festival last Sunday in the beautiful Bangor Castle Walled Garden.

Ronnie Greer has all his favourite musicians on hand - his All Star Big Band - for an absolute jamboree of blues! 🎶

Nick Scott on bass, John Mccullough on keyboards and Richie Buckley Quintet on sax, all Van Morrison band veterans, plus time-keeping legend Peter McKinney on drums, Gerry Truesdale McWhinney, Anthony Toner Music, Billy Boy Miskimmin playing a mean harmonica, and incredible vocalist, Ken Haddock and you pretty much have a home-grown Super Group!

Leaving Ronnie, the finest Blues guitarist in Ireland, to weave his way through all of these talents with his usual soaring style. One of the performance highlights of the year, just exceptional! 😍 🎵

Michael with Donal O'Connor, founder member and Artistic Director of Belfast TradFest, where Lyric Hifi proudly sponsor the Bursary Programme, helping young musicians from disadvantaged backgrounds who may not be able to access this opportunity without support.

This year's Tradfest has grown to 1100 participants in the workshop programme.
