Is your computer running slower over time.

A slow laptop combined with a dusty fan is a classic sign of thermal throttling. Dust blocks the heatsink fins (the thin metal slats), forming a felt-like "dust mat" that acts like a blanket, trapping heat inside. The CPU then lowers its speed to protect itself from overheating, resulting in severe lag.

Other common causes of a slow computer can include
• failed updates,
• file corruption
• viruses & malware
• failing storage devices.

As part of a service the health of your computer is assessed and problems identified and repaired before they cause the computer to stop working.
Some systems may also benefit from upgrading to a solid-state drive or having additional memory fitted to boost performance and prolong the life of the computer.
