Went to see someone today who's website was gone, hosted on Wix. They said there website worked fine and brought them in lots of business, and then they did not want a website.

In this recent project for an electrician I was able to sort out an issue with the website whereby each page appeared twice. Once as https:// and again as http:// i.e. one was secure, and one version was not. Not a good position for coming up in Google as that then means Google is seeing two versions of each page. I fixed that.
However, the website had been built by a friend of a relative who had lost interest in supporting the website, which had not been updated for nearly 10-years. I rebuilt the website using some of the existing content and added new pictures logos and text. I am pleased to say the website https://isselectrical.co.uk/ is generating plenty of leads and work for Ian, and he is delighted with the results.
In Summary simply because you have a website, it does not guarantee it will produce enquiries which you can convert in to work. Many websites have, out dated content, broken links, and less than great SEO. Fixing these issues will give you a better chance of being found in Google and receiving enquires and work.

Smartphones – have for many people become the de facto way of running their lives.

• Replying to communication

WhatsApp in the UK has become a standard form of communication.

Why not have WhatsApp on both your laptop and your phone synchronised? This provides many benefits – easy and quick to setup.

The synchronisation between the two is close to instant. For me it is easier to manage groups, edit photos and write content on my laptop which has a separate keyboard and then respond when away from the office on my phone.

Ideal for any small business.
