C P W Stonehouse Printing, design, illustration and copy in Wolverhampton and the West Midlands / Braille & Tactile Information for the Blind and Visually Impaired

My background in the graphics industry goes all the way back to the early 1980’s; when a late friend of mine, Eamonn Lynch and I set up a small printing business. Situated at the back of a small bookshop in Digbeth, Birmingham; in those days artwork was done with ink pens, Letraset, spray mount, Tippex fluid and surgical scalpels! After being a full time parent for most of the mid 1990’s, I return

ed to full time education in 1998. I achieved an upper second BSc (Hons) in Virtual Reality Design at the School of Engineering and the Built Environment, in Wolverhampton and went on to become an Architectural and Technical Illustrator. From about 2005 onwards I have taken on an ever wider variety of work. This has included designing shop fittings, preparing 3D files for manufacture, creating animations for English Heritage, designing high contrast and tactile museum information panels for blind and partially sighted people, as well as all manner of general graphic design and commercial art. In 2013 I became involved in printing again, as an independent print broker. This means as well as supplying high quality printed products to my own clients, at very competitive rates; I can also provide the same to other designers, at wholesale prices. I am also a copywriter and editor, so I can also help you develop written content for any of your designs and printed matter.
