AFTER FOUR DAYS… THEY'RE FINALLY HERE! 😭😂

Our motherboard delivery has arrived, which means the waiting is OVER and we can finally get back to building gaming PCs!

And we're not exactly easing ourselves back into it...

Sometimes PC building is incredibly rewarding.
Today was not one of those days. 😂

I've spent around 2½ hours of my Sunday building our latest Andromeda Vision and I genuinely couldn't wait to show you the finished result.

Featuring the Thermalright M70 Vision, Lavita Vision and a Trofeo display, this thing should look absolutely ridiculous when everything is powered up.

There's just one slight problem...

The case RGB and fans have decided they don't want to work. 😭

Everything else? Perfect.

So after sacrificing my Sunday afternoon, I'm admitting defeat for today and showing you the new Vision in all of its...

99% working glory. 😂

We'll get that final 1%.

We always do.

Can you still build a £579 gaming PC using brands you actually recognise? 🤔

That’s exactly what I wanted to prove with this one.
We’ve built it using a combination of Corsair and MSI components, because being on a budget shouldn’t automatically mean sacrificing reliability.

At this end of the market it’s VERY tempting to keep stripping money out of a build — cheaper components, lesser-quality hardware and parts chosen purely because they make the headline price look better.

We don’t want to do that at Andromeda.

The challenge is finding the balance between price, performance AND components we’re actually happy putting our name behind.

PART 2 — WE FINALLY FINISHED THE LIAN LI A3. 🔥

Yesterday I left you right at the point where the timelapse stopped and I decided the cable management needed my full attention…

Now you can see why. 😂

This is one of the things you don't always see with custom PC builds.

Getting the components installed is one thing — getting everything routed, hidden and finished properly inside a compact case can be a completely different challenge.

But after a bit of fighting with the cables…

She's done. 😮‍💨

And I genuinely love how this Lian Li A3 turned out. That wood front just works. 👌

Custom build requests might be some of our hardest builds… but they're often the most rewarding.

FINALLY… the Lian Li A3 custom build begins. 👀

On paper? Pretty straightforward.

In reality?

Yeah… not quite. 😂

Custom build requests are always some of my favourite PCs to build because they're never quite the same — but that can also make them some of the most challenging.

I started filming this one as a timelapse…

Then I reached the cable management. 😅

At that point I decided the camera could wait and this PC needed my full attention.

YOU CAN ALL STOP ASKING NOW. 😂

Our first Lian Li A3 wood-front build is finally here. 🪵🔥

I’ve had so many people asking us to build in this case, so I thought it was about time we actually did it.

And for the first one, we’ve gone with:

🎮 NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060
🔥 32GB DDR4
⚡ 2TB NVMe SSD
🪵 Lian Li A3 with the wood front

I go through the whole build and specs in the video, but I think I finally understand why everyone kept asking for one.

It’s compact without looking like a compromise, and that wood front looks ridiculously good on a finished gaming PC.

So yes…

The Lian Li A3 has officially arrived at Andromeda.

Now please stop asking me to build one.

Unless you want one yourself.

Then feel free to pester me like there’s no tomorrow. 😂

PART 2 — Today’s build schedule update! 👀

So… how am I actually getting on? 😂

Earlier I showed you the amount of orders we managed to take in just 3 days.

A few hours later, here’s what the workshop is looking like.

Some of today’s PCs are built ✅

Some are still waiting their turn 👀

Customer repairs and upgrades are still being worked through 🔧

And between all of that, we’re attempting to keep PCs on the shop floor too.

Attempting being the important word there. 😂

This is the bit you don't normally see when you place an order with a small PC builder — multiple machines moving through different stages at the same time, while the rest of the shop carries on around them.

But we're making progress! 🙌

Why is next-day delivery so difficult in the custom PC world? 👀

This was just 3 days of orders for our little shop.

When you’re a small PC builder, every new order means another system that needs building, configuring, testing and checking before it goes anywhere near a courier.

But online orders aren't the only thing happening.

We also need to keep PCs available in the physical shop — something we're admittedly not very good at because they have a habit of selling before we can replace them. 😅

Then, alongside all of that, we’re still dealing with customer repairs, upgrades and diagnostics every day.

Could we focus everything around getting PCs out of the door as quickly as physically possible?
Probably.

But that isn't what we want Andromeda to be about.
The reality is that some of the best spec-for-spec prebuilt gaming PCs aren't next-day machines.

A properly selected, properly built and properly tested PC can be worth waiting those extra few days for.

We'd rather send you the right PC than simply the fastest one. ❤️
