We've been asked quite a few times recently if we recycle, and to nail it down...

WE RECYCLE OLD TECH FOR FREE!

We will take anything except for printers and TVs. Any data is destroyed in house (£10 per item if you need certificates) and your computer is sent off to our WEEEWaste centre to be separated and eventually turned into new tech!

If you're like me, you've got a drawer, and maybe a box full of old junk tech that is of no use, so fetch it down and get rid of it safely and securely.

A friendly reminder:

We offer 100% free recycling of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment for non-commercial customers. If you have any tech you are looking to get rid of, like that laptop you bought 25 years ago that's been in the loft for the past 10 years, fetch it on down to us, and we will dispose of it properly. Your data is destroyed in-house (with certificates available at £10 per drive, with bulk pricing available), and the computers are taken to a local WEEE waste site, where they are destroyed, and the metals are recycled into new products.

If you're unsure whether there is any data on the computers, we offer a service to back up all user data so you know your information is safe before we destroy the drives.

We accept any electronics except for inkjet printers and televisions. Please call before dropping off your WEEE waste with us, so we can make sure we have space.

Just another quick update that we will be closed tomorrow morning for TechMax Expo 2026. We will be open again from 2:00 pm until our usual time of 5:00 pm.

We shall be closing shortly, but we ask that if anyone notices any more smoke coming out of the planter in front of our shop, please call 999 immediately. It has caught fire twice already today, and we have dug it out and doused it with water to hopefully stop it. (Sorry Bramley Council)

We think it’s caused by the liner burning from the sunlight going between the cracks of the wood on the trough, but it could be the fertiliser in the soil.
