The Orchard Tea Garden

It's not everyday that you get asked to redesign and build a website for the famous Orchard Tea Garden in Grantchester, an essential part of Cambridge life for over 125 years!

Renowned for the large number of famous people who have enjoyed its genteel setting, the Orchard is a place to relax and soak up the atmosphere of a bygone age. Sitting under its trees or snuggling in its old pavilion… which the website needed to reflect.

By creating a clean and spacious layout the site allowed the images to breathe, showcasing the relaxed vibe of the orchard and the feel you get when visiting the Tea Garden. Bold clear navigation allows the end user to find information quickly, whether it's to view the seasonal menus, find out about the history of the orchard or simply make a reservation.

We are pleased to announce that we have been supporting our local community group that helps those living with Dementia.

Through a new consistent brand and eye catching marketing material we have hopefully helped them increase awareness throughout the local community. The time that the volunteers and organisers dedicate to helping those suffering with dementia is incredible and shouldn’t go unnoticed.

This is an illness close to our hearts and one we definitely wanted to get involved with 💙💛

Brand development and website design for Liquid Corporate Finance – An independent credit brokerage, dedicated to helping SME’s across the UK acquire the finances to fund their growth and expansion.

It’s great to hear positive feedback from Bango on our recent UI/UX Design project 🙌

This is the latest project in Design27 Ltd - Website Design Studio expanding portfolio of clients, and follows the launch of a number of design projects both locally and internationally within the last six months. To be able to work on such a fundamental aspect of Bango’s customer facing platform, shows that our team has the ideal knowledge and understanding to deliver the perfect UI/UX design for not only websites, but also apps and software.

Bango came to us not only requiring a new brand look and feel for their platform but also for us to explore the user journey and ways that this could be made easy for the client to navigate – which we are pleased to say we have passed with flying colours! By pushing the boundaries of their corporate brand guidelines and introducing a fresh approach with iconography and bold typography we were able to create a more impactful design which would hold the clients attention whilst keeping user engagement.
