Which one would you go for? 🤔
We hope you would choose B 👀
But why?
1. Who is your audience?
Before you even touch a design tool, the first question you should ask is, “who is this flyer for?” Is it for busy parents? Young professionals? Retirees? Basically, who is your ideal customer? The design should resonate with these people.
In this case B, is fully written to resonate with only one audience. In this case it is headteachers.
2. Create an engaging headline
In this first instance (A), says what service you provide. In the second case (B), the headline gives customers a ‘why’ they should choose that service. That’s why is better.
Lesson: say WHY you do it, not WHAT you do.
3. Use eye-catching, relevant imagery
While we didn’t use an image in our example because we believed the message alone was strong (and it was), an image can capture attention if it resonates.
Show why you do what you do- how it benefits others. For instance, instead of a showroom photo , use an image of a happy family driving along a scenic coastal road.
