Yay!… Proud to have secured a further £500 grant from SWEF, delivered locally in partnership with the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Community Foundation (HIWCF)… which now takes Car-Go Systems total grant funding to more than £15,000. SWEF supports young entrepreneurs who face barriers to investing in and growing their businesses.

This funding will support our marketing efforts while building a more accessible, transparent and efficient logistics network, making better use of existing freight capacity and helping reduce unnecessary empty miles.

A huge thank you to SWEF and HIWCF for their confidence in our vision, and to Acclaim Logistics Limited for supporting our Isle of Wight pilot and helping us test Car-Go in a live operational environment.

We’re also proud to be connected with the wider Freight Innovation Fund community through Connected Places Catapult Freight Innovation Cluster, alongside organisations working to modernise UK freight and logistics.

This is only the beginning!!!

Isle of Wight Chamber Business Expo 2026!

Enjoy the video, it’s been a long day and I’m not writing a massive caption for you all to read. Basically, it was really fun, follow us on Instagram, and it was amazing seeing familiar faces.

It was great standing behind the Acclaim Logistics Limited stand, who are in partnership with and seeing them and some of their amazing workforce was a pleasure. Cheers guys.

A few days spent meeting business owners and dropping off business cards to companies across the Isle of Wight.

The Island is not only a place I call home, but also where Car-Go deployed its first-ever trial. This visit was all about helping get Car-Go off the ground.

We also ended up speaking with residents while stuck in queues, out and about, and through family friends. Car-Go was praised for its innovative approach to some of the Island’s delivery challenges and, surprise surprise, everyone seemed to know someone who had experienced the very problem we’re trying to solve 😄.

I’d like to thank everyone who took a card and followed the account. We may need your support one day too.

A day running errands with preparing for a trip home to the Isle of Wight. Our goal is to hand out 100 cards to businesses and people while we build the Car-Go Systems platform. And hopefully on my return back to Brighton my trousers from the charity shop are nice and comfortable after precise alterations! After finishing my degree at Sussex University we’re full steam ahead and figuring out the next steps in the direction we want to go in… so stay tuned.
