Microsoft 365 Copilot can now transcribe in-person and hybrid meetings — and hardly anyone is talking about it.

For many organisations, capturing accurate meeting notes has meant adding extra tools like Otter or Fireflies, increasing costs and raising data security concerns. Now, with Copilot Facilitator in Teams, you can record, transcribe, and generate recaps directly from your phone.

This is a practical step forward for teams who rely on in-person collaboration but still want the benefits of AI-powered workflows.

How to try M365 Copilot for In Person Meetings:


1. Download Microsoft Teams on your phone
2. Go to the Calendar
3. Tap the small icon in the top right (it looks like a camera with lines around it)
4. Press “Take Notes with Facilitator”
5. Allow microphone access
6. Start your meeting

Struggling to get consistent results from AI tools? You are not alone.

One of the most common frustrations I hear in AI training is this:

“I used the same prompt, with the same data, but I got a different answer.”

AI doesn’t work like traditional software. It predicts, reasons, and adapts, which means variation is normal.

The good news is you can reduce inconsistency where it matters. Clear output definitions, strong examples, custom instructions, and (in some cases) custom tools or the API make a significant difference.

Looks like Open AI's advanced voice features may not be rolling out in the UK and Europe after all. Tech Radar believe it's due to the EU AI act. I suspect it's more Open AI trying to make a point about the act so regulators feel pressured to relax the rules. Similarly Meta.ai is still to launch in Europe . What are your thoughts?
