We’ve just completed our BCorp recertification.
It was hard ... but that’s kinda the point.
The last few years have felt… well a little off to put it bluntly. A bit unhinged. We’ve watched the world lean toward louder voices, shorter-term thinking, and a kind of growth that forgets what actually sustains us.
For us, it always comes back to the basics. Clean air. Living soil. Land that feeds us. Social systems that support people rather than grind them down. Without those things, everything else starts to feel like theatre. Even the work we love making.
At We Are Tilt, we’ve never believed craft on its own is enough. Creativity only really counts when it’s backed by care. When it’s rooted in how you operate, not just what you say.
So we keep asking ourselves uncomfortable questions. How do we make decisions? Where does the money go? What do we protect when no one’s watching?
Recertifying as a B Corp is part of that. Our B Impact Score has moved from 88.3 to 96.2. When the pass mark is 80, getting into the mid-90s means changing how our agency actually runs, not polishing the surface.
This is a team win, not a brand one, earnt through the changes made in pursuit of simply being better.
