Team Amplicon is incredibly proud to celebrate the success of our apprentice, Luis Delaney, who has now completed his level 3 IT Technical Sales Apprenticeship achieving a Distinction. Following this fantastic achievement, Luis has joined us a Trainee Sales Engineer with Measurement and Control team. 🎉

Over the past year, Luis has combined hands-on learning with structured training, gaining technical expertise, customer engagement skills, and confidence in delivering solutions. After passing with flying colours, Luis is ready to take on the next step in his career and continue developing his expertise within the measurement and control sector. 👏

For over 50 years, Amplicon has been committed to nurturing young talent through internships and apprenticeships, helping future engineers gain valuable skills while shaping the future of technology. 🌍

As part of our commitment to supporting our local charity partner, Rockinghorse Children's Charity,Team Amplicon was pleased to welcome Amanda Hetherington, Head of Fundraising and Partnerships, for an informative awareness and training session.

Amanada introduced the charity and shared more about the work they do, the different ways they support children and their families, and the difference their service makes to children's healthcare across Sussex.

A key focus of the session was exploring additional ways Amplicon can support Rockinghorse throughout the 2026–27 financial year, including opportunities for our team to get involved in fundraising activities and local events.

It was truly inspiring to hear about the incredible difference Rockinghorse makes to children and families across Sussex, and a powerful reminder of just how important their work is.

Today, we were pleased to welcome Ella Pilkington, Corporate Partnerships Executive at Martlets Hospice, to Amplicon for a cheque presentation and a chance to learn more about each other.

Through our Bell Ringer fundraising scheme, we have raised £1,870 for Martlets, helping support the charity’s vital work in our local community.

The scheme is a simple way of turning our day-to-day business activity into charitable giving: for every £10,000 spent on an order, Amplicon donates £10 to support local charities.

A big thank you to Ella for visiting us and sharing more about the work of Martlets.

We’re proud to support such an important local charity and look forward to continuing our fundraising.

This month, we celebrate an incredible milestone, 25 years of leadership from our CEO, Gina. 🎉

Since joining Amplicon in 2001, Gina has played an integral role in shaping the company into what it is today. Over the past quarter of a century, her determination, leadership and commitment have helped guide Amplicon through an ever-changing industry, while continuing to carry forward the values and legacy on which the company was built.

To mark this very special occasion, we invited colleagues past and present, along with distributors, suppliers and key people who have been part of her journey, to share their memories and messages for Gina. The response was incredible, with stories and well wishes reflecting not only her leadership and charismatic personality, but also the lasting relationships she has built throughout her 25-year journey.

Big congratulations to the winners of the annual Amplicon Oscars at this year’s Amplicon Founders Day celebration.

Award highlights:
• People’s Choice WINNER: Pawel Gorny (PC Assembly Technician)
• Outstanding Performance of the year WINNER: Luis Delaney (Sales Trainee Engineer)
• Outstanding Performance of the year RUNNER-UP: Paul Batey (Manufacturing/Production Technician)
• Outstanding Performance of the year NOMINEE: Jason Adib-Yaghmai (Electro-Mechanical Engineer)
• Unsung Hero WINNER: Mandi Dennis (Accounting Technician)

We also recognised the outstanding achievements of our Sales Engineers: Darren Saxby (Senior Sales Engineer), Richard Munson (Senior Sales Engineer), Jastine Esteban (International Sales Engineer) and Neil Stanyard (Sales Engineer), who each secured over £1 million worth of orders in the past financial year.

On Friday 7th August, Team Amplicon put their trust to the ultimate test for our annual Founders Day! 🗡️

This year, we headed to Hollingbury Golf Club for a Traitorous experience: an immersive event inspired by the TV series The Traitors, hosted by The Events Company. Split into teams, colleagues faced a series of challenges where teamwork was essential, but with a secret traitor sabotaging each round, the question quickly became… who could you really trust? 👀

Alongside the betrayals, accusations and plenty of laughs, we also took time to celebrate some incredible achievements at our annual Amplicon Oscars, as well as a truly special milestone: 25 years of leadership from our CEO, Gina.

A fantastic afternoon celebrating the people who make Amplicon what it is, even if we did spend part of it trying to deceive each other!

Here’s to another brilliant Founders Day and an exciting year ahead.

We're delighted to announce the three charities that Team Amplicon will be supporting through our Bell Ringer fundraising initiative this year.

Joining our charity partners are Rockinghorse Children's Charity, which supports babies, children, young people and their families across Sussex, and The Hedgehog Hub, Axe Valley, a wildlife rescue dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and caring for injured and orphaned hedgehogs.

We're also proud to continue our long-standing support for Martlets Hospice, helping provide compassionate care for people living with terminal illness and support for their families across our local community.

Every Bell Ringer raised throughout the year will help make a difference. We look forward to supporting these fantastic charities during 2026/27.

Thanks to the generosity of Team Amplicon, we raised an incredible £5,000 for three fantastic charities during 2025/26 through our Charity Token Scheme: Many Tears Animal Rescue, Diabetes UK, and Martlets Hospice.

Now in its 11th year, the scheme has raised more than £40,000 for charitable causes, giving our team the opportunity to support organisations that matter to them and make a meaningful difference.

We're delighted to announce our chosen charities for the year ahead: Rockinghorse Children's Charity, The Hedgehog Hub Axe Valley, and Martlets. We look forward to supporting them throughout 2026/27.
